Mrs. Patsy Wilson Brock, 72, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her residence.The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May18, 2016 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May17, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.Mrs . Brock was born September 27, 1943 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of J. C. Wilson and Sara Rabon Wilson. She was a graduate of West Bainbridge High School, Class of 1961 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Valdosta State College. Patsy taught 1st grade at Jones-Wheat Elementary School for several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Hilda Byrd Sunday School Class, and deeply loved her family. Survivors include her husband, Winston B. Brock of Bainbridge, GA; her children, Renée B. Sims of Bainbridge, GA, Winston B. Brock, Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of Bainbridge, GA and Misty B. Griffin and her husband, Jim, of Bainbridge, GA; her sister, Judy W. Zorn and her husband, Mark, of Bainbridge, GA; and her grandchildren, Marla Sims, Ashton Brock, John Sims, Grayson Griffin, and Winston B. Brock, III.
