Paul Harrell

Paul J. Harrell, 93, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at Bainbridge Healthcare. Mr. Harrell was born August 31, 1920 in Yancey County, NC, the son of Roy Harrell and Althe Harris Harrell. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and the Merchant Marines, and was a entrepreneur in many diverse businesses. Mr. Harrell was a member of Covenant Christian Church. Survivors include his sons Mike Harrell and his wife, Joan, of North Carolina, John Harrell and his wife, Mary, and Gregg Harrell and his wife, Tamera, of Tennessee; his four grandchildren; and his eleven great-grandchildren. Mr. Harrell was preceded in death by his wives, Aretha Cole Harrell and Mary Jean Robertson Harrell; his son Ed Harrell; and his brother, Bruce Harrell. The family of Mr. Harrell would like to thank the staff of Bainbridge Healthcare, Hospice of Southwest Georgia, and all of his friends who have given him care and support.
