Paul Piland

Paul Daniel Piland, 68, peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, April 22, 2018, while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bainbridge, Georgia on October 1, 1949, he was a son of the late Willie Eugene Piland and the late Susan Marie Strickland Piland. Also preceding him in death are his brothers, Billy Piland, Buster Piland and Rodney Daniels; and brother-in-law, Phillip Barber. He was a Sales Associate at Bass Pro Shops and enjoyed fishing, the beach and spending time with his family and fellowship with friends. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Jan Piland; children, Jennifer (Jarrett) Turnbull; Amy (Nick) Earley, Patrick (April) Roberts, Chris Roberts and Carrie Roberts; grandchildren, Gretchen Turnbull, Malorie Turnbull, Avery Turnbull, Abigail Earley, Owen Earley and Emma Roberts; and siblings, Beverly Barber and Jackie (Donna) Piland. A service to celebrate and honor his life is 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Abbey Funeral Home, 4037 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32303, with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
