Pauline Cooper, 89, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 01, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at New Enterprise Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Pauline was a native of Brinson, GA. She was the owner/caregiver of Cooper's Boarding Home in Tampa, FL, which included caring for veterans, prior to her retirement and return to her hometown of Brinson, GA. Pauline loved holidays and gatherings, especially Christmas, where she would decorate her entire yard for others to enjoy. Her antics were evidence of her character as the life of the party. Her mantra was "the more the merrier". She had an uncanny way of turning a tear into laughter. Pauline enjoyed canning and flowers. Her family and friends were blessed by her presence and the fruits of her labor.Survivors include her son, John Reese and his wife, Geri, of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Jacob Reese, Ashley Dirr and her husband, Joshua, and John Michael Reese, all of Tampa; and her great-grandchildren, Alexis, Ariana, and Matthew Dirr.She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucia Emanuel Cooper.
