Mrs. Pearl Kilpatrick passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, at her home in Quincy, Florida. Services for Mrs. Kilpatrick will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013, 2:00 p.m. central standard time, graveside, at Gordon City Cemetery, Gordon, Alabama. Rev. Newton Cranford will officiate. The family will receive friends 5:00-700 p.m., Wednesday, January 23, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Pearl was born June 16, 1925, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to William Dennis Moat and Robbie Henderson Moat. She was married to Ellis Kilpatrick. She loved to go fishing. Pearl will be missed greatly by the family she loved so much. Pearl Kilpatrick is survived by her husband, Ellis Kilpatrick; children, Billy Moat and wife, Debbie, and David Phillips and wife, Juanita; brother, Junior Moat; sisters, Mary Alice Gifford and Betty Joe Davis; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren David Phillips; children, Jean Phillips, Margaret Harrell, and Dennis Phillips; brothers, Silas Moat, M.J. Moat, Budd Moat, Earl Moat, Bobby Moat, and Elzey Moat; and sister, Tiny Alday.
