Peggie Woodward

Mrs. Peggie Ann Jeter Woodward, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017, in North Augusta, South Carolina. Service for Mrs. Woodward will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 23, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. The Rev. Ernie Jones will officiate. Eddie Duke, Jeff Jeter, Greg Jeter, Steve Long, Aaron Goodman, and Jeffrey Bevis will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00. Peggie Ann Jeter Woodward was born June 26, 1935, the daughter of James and Fannie Jeter. Peggie was married to John Woodward, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Nanette (Nan) Spears and husband, Paul and David Jay Cohn, III and wife, Fran; grandchildren, Heather Ann Gibson, James Gregory Cohn; great-grandchildren, Claire Ann Gibson and Tyler Avery Gibson; brother, James Milton (Mitt) Jeter and wife, Sharon; nieces and nephews, Jeff Jeter, Greg Jeter, Cindy Bevis, April Goodman, and Amy Jo Long.
