Peggy Eidson

Peggy J. Eidson, 78, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor C. O. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Dennis Weaver, Clayton Weaver, Hardy Powell, Dewayne Cox, Murry Bearden, and Jarrod Milton serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Junior's Pest Control. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Box 1528, Bainbridge, GA 39818. Mrs. Eidson was born on May 1, 1935 in Bainbridge, GA. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1953, and a member of Open Arms Ministries. She and her husband, Junior Eidson, founded Junior's Pest Control in 1977. Peggy loved taking care of her family, cooking, and sewing. She loved watching cooking shows and wrestling with her son, Ricky. Survivors include her sons, Dane Eidson and his wife, Delores, Wally Eidson, and Ricky Eidson, all of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Cindy Walker and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Benjamin Eidson, Nathan Eidson, Jerry Eidson, Ashley Bearden, Paige Cox, Chrystal Eidson, Jordon Cox; her great-grandchildren, Nina Bearden, Zack Bearden, Keith Eidson, Piper Eidson, Connor Eidson, Landon Eidson, Jarrod Milton, Jr., David Eidson, Caleb Eidson, A. J. Eidson, Judah Eidson, Lila Grace Eidson, and Kate Eidson; and her great-great-grandchildren, Andrew and Chandler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. "Junior: Eidson; her daughter, Bertha Diane Eidson; her parents, Wallace and Eunice Skipper McCarty; her brother, Richard McCarty; and her sister, Anna Martha Avant.
