Peggy Henley

Peggy Joyce Henley, age 65, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 13th, 2022. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 17th, 2022 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor McCrickard officiating.  Interment will be at Sylvania Cemetery.  Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Peggy was born Friday, January 20th, 1956 in Chattahoochee, Florida the daughter of Naomi and Wilson Morris.  She loved her family.  She devoted her life to serving her family and being there for them when they needed her.  She loved cooking, gardening, and singing.  She enjoyed working with her flowers. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Charlie Eugene Henley; son, Daniel Henley and his wife Jamie of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Maria Burke and her husband Chris McVicker of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren, Zachary Henley, Brooklynn Johnson, Cody Dean, and Willie Earl Burke, Jr.; great-grandson, Hudson Henley; sisters, Shirley McDaniel and Joanne Hobbs and husband Scott; and brother, Harvey Morris and wife Laurie. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Danny Morris.
