She enjoyed gardening and fishing. Survivors include her children, Jile L. Salter, Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Climax, GA, Janet M. Meridith and her husband, Garry, of Climax, GA, William L. Salter and his wife, Nicki, of Climax, GA, and Oliver M. Salter of Pelham, GA; her brother, Willie Fred Watkins of Bainbridge, GA; her nine grandchildren, Leeann Curles and her husband Michael, Garry Lee Meridith, Jr. and his wife, Kim, April Ann Salter, Jile Lavon Salter, III, Lauren Godwin and her husband, Cody, Hannah M. Salter, Katie M. Salter, Caleb Hall, and Brian Salter; and her four great-great grandchildren.
