Penny Michelle  GarciaMarch 29, 1972 - August 2, 2023 Penny Michelle Garcia, age 51, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. The family will hold a memorial service at Lake Seminole Baptist Church, 2990 Burke Road, Donalsonville, GA on Saturday, August 5, 2023 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with fellowship to follow. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Penny was born March 29, 1972 in Bainbridge, Georgia  the daughter of Charlie T Ward and Audrey Mae Ward. She graduated from Bainbridge High School. She worked at Tender Love and Care in Bainbridge, Ga and co-ran Hot Eats Vending with her mother. Penny was a devoted mother to her only son, Rudy. She shared a life with Steve Garcia. Survivors include her husband, Steve Garcia; son, Rudy Steven Garcia; sister, Leeann Pepper; brother, Timmy Ward; aunt and uncle, Larry and Mary Bragg; aunt, Elaine German; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Penny  was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Emory and Carrie Bragg; and aunt, Elizabeth Bragg. The Garcia family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
