Penny Pervis Grubbs, 43, of Camilla, GA passed away Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Active pallbearers will be Jordon Grubbs, Danny Grubbs, Jr., David Donalson, David Grubbs, Jr., John Mark Bryant, and Matt Sharber. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Palm View Cemetery in Palmetto, FL with Pastor Colin Rampton and Pastor Clarence Pillsbury officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the First Church of the Nazarene. She was a graduate of Palmetto High School, Class of 1986, and was a rural courier associate for the United States Postal Service. Penny was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, she enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Roger Grubbs of Camilla, GA; her sons, Casper Boone of Albany, GA and Shane Boone of Camilla, GA; her stepdaughters, Brittany Grubbs of Bainbridge, GA, Lauren Grubbs of Baxley, GA and Apryl Yoder of Sugar Creek, OH; her mother, Janie Flournoy Pervis of Parrish, FL; her brothers, Wallace Pervis and his wife, Tammy, of Parrish, FL and James Pervis of Bradenton, FL; and her sister, Deanna Pervis of Palmetto, FL. Penny was preceded in death by her father, James Pasquel Pervis.
