Phaydell Moore

Funeral services for Mrs. Phaydell Moore, age 99 of Climax, will be held Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church with Bro. Thad Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Cemetery in Calvary, GA with James William Harrison, Al Byrd, Joe Byrd, Robert Byrd, Donald Byrd, and Eddie Byrd serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Harrison Sr. and Danny Harrison. Visitation will be held immediately following the service. Mrs. Moore was born February 11, 1911 in Decatur County, GA to the now late Patrick and Ada Yawn. She was a homemaker and a member of Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore had lived all her life in Decatur County and loved to cook and fish. She passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge. Mrs. Moore is survived by one daughter, Reba Harrison of Climax, GA; eight grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; and twenty one great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands; Leland Moore and Marvin Byrd, one son Edsel Byrd and three grandchildren.
