Philip Johnson

Philip "Phil" Johnson, 46, of the Sylvania Community in Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at his residence. The graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Sylvania Cemetery with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating and military honors will be provided by the United States Navy. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. He was a graduate of Calhoun County High School, Class of 1984, and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Johnson was a truck driver for many years and was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Emma Jean Johnson of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Whitney Johnson of Bainbridge, GA, his parents, Arthur E. Johnson and Naomi Faye Pepple Johnson of Arlington, GA; his brother, Bruce Allen Johnson and his wife, Amy, of Arlington, GA; his nephew, Dylan Johnson; and his niece, Delana Johnson.
