Phyllis Jeanette LaneApril 28, 1947 - July 13, 2023 Phyllis Jeanette Lane, age 76, of Bainbridge, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 13th, 2023. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Bainbridge Church of God with Pastor Ryan Carnes officiating.  A private interment will be at West Bainbridge Cemetery. Phyllis was born April 28, 1947 in Bainbridge, Georgia  the daughter of Ray Powell and Jewell Powell. She worked at Bainbridge State Hospital and Decatur Seminole Training Center for many years. She was a dedicated member of Bainbridge Church of God. Phyllis was a light to her family. She loved laughter and found humor in everything. She was a woman of God with strong faith. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy Lane Lowell (Stan) of Columbus, GA and Kim Anderson (Greg) of Bainbridge, GA; grandchildren, Ashston Anderson, Kendall Poteat (Zack), and Payton Anderson; great- grandchildren, Greyson, Hatcher, and Madden; siblings, Lajean Williamson, Linda Braswell, Sandra Howell, Sherry Boyett, and Donnel Powell; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Phyllis  was preceded in death by her parents and 6 siblings. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens. The Lane family has entrusted the arrangements to Ivey Funeral Home, 502 S. Scott Street, Bainbridge, GA 39819.
