Phyllis Grollman McCabe, 79, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorial donations may be made to: Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society, 1250 Cox Avenue, Bainbridge, GA 39819 or the charity of your choice.Phyllis was born June 27, 1938 to Joe & Rosalie Grollman. She was a 1956 graduate of Bainbridge High School and a 1960 graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in TV-Radio Journalism.In 1967 Phyllis moved to Las Vegas and began a long career in advertising and public relations. She worked at the Las Vegas Hilton for a number of years and later opened her own agency. Phyllis never forgot her childhood friends and enjoyed keeping in touch on a regular basis. She always loved animals and even had a pet pig at one time.Survivors include her brothers, Jody Grollman and his wife, Paula, of Bainbridge, GA and Bob Grollman and his wife, Dinah, of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by a niece, Jenny Grollman, and a nephew, Robbie Grollman, both of Atlanta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph A. McCabe.
