Ray Haire

Ray J. Haire, 69, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating. Mr. Haire was born March 14, 1942 in Colquitt, GA, the son of Robert Haire and Kathleen Carter Hatcher. He was a retired security guard, the former owner of the Dairyco Drive Inn, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Duncan Haire of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Frank Brooks, Jr. of Redlands, CA; his daughters, Donna Brooks Trammell and her husband, Mike, of Bainbridge, GA, and Kathy Haire Edwards and her husband, Mark, of Tallahassee, FL; his brother, Don Moore of Albany, GA; his sister, Ernestine Badman of Manchester, TN; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Ted Brooks.
