Ray Maxwell

Mr. Ray Carlton Maxwell, 89, of Iron City GA and formerly of Bainbridge, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007at Memorial Hospital. The memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home chapel with Mr. John Wooden officiating. Mr. Maxwell was born October 29, 1917 in Bainbridge, to the late Gus B. and Zudie Missouri Sapp Maxwell. He graduated from Bainbridge High School and was a retired machinist with Miller Hydro with forty years of service. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Anne Maxwell of Iron City; one daughter, Sheryl M. Cutts of Iron City; two grandchildren, Cherie Cutts-Owens and Kimberly A. Cutts; two great grandchildren, Skylar Corbin and Holden Owens and his constant companion, Baby Dog.
