Rayford Whigham

Mr. Rayford Douglas Whigham of Cairo, age 65, passed away early Friday, March 29, 2014, in Tallahassee, Florida. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 6, 2014, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge. Rayford Douglas Whigham was born in Camilla, Georgia to Jack Whigham and Opal West Whigham. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp Reserves. For many years, he was a truck driver for Bond Sand Mines. Doug was a person who easily made friends. He deeply enjoyed and loved his grandson. Douglas Whigham is survived by his sons, Emory D. Whigham, Tracy Whigham, and Terry Whigham; his brothers, Thurman Whigham and Melvin Whigham and wife, Janice; his grandson, Trell Whigham; and his niece, Brandy Gancerez.
