Raymond Omans

Graveside services for Mr. Raymond Omans, age 67 of Cairo, GA, will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Whites Bridge Cemetery with Rev. Ed Harrell officiating. Burial will follow at Whites Bridge Cemetery. Mr. Omans was born May 31, 1942 in Perry, Fl the son of the now late Joseph and Valley Smith Omans. He was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and playing poker. He has lived in the Grady County area for the past forty years. He was married to Nina Lenora Powell Oman who preceded him in death. Mr. Oman is survived by three daughters Valley Lambert and husband Trampus of Climax, Jacqueline Bishop and husband Chuck of Thomasville and Mary Jo Amy Omans of Thomasville; one brother Harold Merritt of Monticello, FL; two sisters Lena Johnson of Ranger, GA and Louise Calhoun of Madison, FL; three grandchildren Cassandra Patrizi, Tim Beasley and Deanna Beasley and eight great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife.
