Reba Coleman passed over peacefully into Glory on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, meeting Jesus face-to-face and reuniting with her family and friends who have gone before. Reba lived her 100 years on this earth devoted to her Faith in Jesus Christ and to her family.

Reba was born on July 11, 1926, in Hamilton County Florida, the only child of David Hillery Smith and Irma Julia Cunningham Smith. After graduating Jennings High School as Class Salutatorian in 1944, Reba took a job at Peninsular Telephone Company in Tampa, Florida which enabled her to send money back home to support the family farm. Homesick for north Florida, Reba returned home in the winter of 1945, shortly thereafter she met the love of her life, Clyde Augustus Colemen and they were soon married May 5, 1946, at Billory Baptist Church in Holly, Florida. Reba received a full scholarship to Florida State College for Women in Tallahassee but chose marriage instead. Reba and Clyde were married for 67 years, until his passing in 2013. They raised six children, five sons and one daughter. Reba and Clyde were ordained to ministry through New Tribes Missions and throughout the years they ministered together in the local church, public speaking, radio broadcasts and television shows.

Reba is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Coleman; her daughter-in-law, Lyn Rigdon Coleman; her grandson, Nathaniel Coleman; her parents Hilliery and Irma Smith.

Reba is survived by all her children, Gale Coleman and wife Phyllis (Cumming, GA); Gary Coleman and wife Kathy (Henagar, AL); Greg Coleman and wife Deborah (Monroe, GA); Marsha Sturm and husband Dave (Chattanooga, TN); Clyde Coleman, Jr. and wife Renee (Whigham, GA); David Coleman and wife Kerry (Cairo, GA); 13 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
