Funeral services for Mrs. Reba McDougald, age 94 of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Stephen Webb and Rev. Talmadge Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak City Cemetery with Ivan Cunningham, Troy Cotsenmoyer, Jeff Cotsenmoyer, Johnny Luther, Raymond Luther, Mack McDougald, Donnie Murphy serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. McDougald was born September 18, 1914 to the now late John M. and Harriett Fitzgerald Wilcox. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she once taught Sunday School and was a member of the Womens Circle. She has lived in Decatur County most of her life and worked at Dickies as a seamstress and the Bainbridge State Hospital as a nurses aid. She loved to sew, loved people, especially children and her family. She passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Carrol McDougald and her parents. Mrs. McDougald is survived by her daughter Rebecca (husband Troy) Cotsenmoyer of Bainbridge, GA; three sisters Oppie Lee Roxy of Bradenton, FL, Betty Rose Morrow of Decatur, GA and Shirley L. Williams of Warner Robins, GA; two grandchildren Carrie Castillon of Hughson, CA and Ivan Cunningham III of Lyons, GA and two great grandchildren Nicolas Castillon and Devon Cunningham. Flowers will be accepted but donations can be made to the Decatur County Senior Center or the First United Methodist Church.
