Rebecca Diane McMillan Scott, 59, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David W. Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Roger McMillan, Doug Vickers, Joey McMillan, Ronnie McMillan, Donnie McMillan, Donnie Joe McMillan, Chris Hill, and Chad McMillan serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Scott was born June 16, 1953 in Sneads, FL, the daughter of James Nixon McMillan and Ella Hewett McMillan. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her son, David Scott and his wife, Christy, of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Tracy S. Conner and her husband, Jimmy, of Bainbridge, GA, Dee Dee Griffin and her husband, Allen, of Bainbridge, GA, and Tammy Fletcher and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, GA; her brothers, Charles McMillan of Jacksonville, FL and Junior McMillan of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Dorothy Walden of Bainbridge, GA, and Brenda Strickland of Bainbridge, GA; and her grandchildren, Brittany Scott, Tyler Scott, Cheyene Scott, Greg Conner, Jessie Conner, Blake Griffin, Allison Griffin, Reilly Fletcher, and Dalton Fletcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Rufus Scott.
