Regina "Gina" Cumbie Hornsby, 43, of Climax, GA, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018.The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at New Home Free Will Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery.The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorial donations may be made to New Home Free Will Baptist Church, C/O Wayne Scott, 1034 Salem Church Road, Climax, GA 39834.Regina Lynn Cumbie was born January 29, 1975 in Thomasville, GA, the daughter of Benny and Belinda Boutwell Cumbie. She earned an Associates Degree from Wallace Community College and was a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of New Home Free Will Baptist Church.Gina was very outgoing and had a bubbly personality. She never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to sing and walk, especially on the beach. Gina was a talented hair and makeup artist; she was always willing to do her part in making others feel beautiful. No one that knew Gina would be the least bit surprised that her favorite television show was "The Golden Girls". Survivors include her daughters, Brittany Nicolle Hornsby of Iron City, GA and Meagan Elizabeth Hornsby of Donalsonville, GA; her mother, Belinda Boutwell Cumbie of Climax, GA; her siblings, Darrell Cumbie of Climax, GA, Lisa Haire of Bluffton, GA and Wesley Cumbie also of Climax, GA; and her grandson, Thomas Evan James Varnum. Gina was preceded in death by her father, Benny T. Cumbie; and her son, Brandon Dean Hornsby.
