Regina Starling

Regina Brown Starling, 99, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The graveside funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2008 at Mt. Mrs. Starling was born December 22, 1908 in Dale County, AL, the daughter of Clarence Riley Brown and Hallie Clark Brown. She was a graduate of Midland City High School, received her Associate's Degree from Troy State Teacher's College and her Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University. Mrs. Starling was a retired school teacher with the Decatur County School System and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Starling was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Bryant Starling, her brother, Robert Earl Brown and her sister, Katherine Brown Key. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and David Bryan of Bainbridge, GA and Glenda and Ben Rogers of Cochran, GA; four grandchildren, Jackie Smith, Benjy Rogers, Tish Palmer and Gina Bell; and seven great grandchildren
