Ms. Rhoda Ann Coddington, age 53, of Colquitt, GA passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at South East Medical Center in Dothan, AL. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel in Bainbridge, GA with Rev. Dane Eidson officiating. Benny Kimmins, Buford Smith, Tracy Kimbrel, Frank Sigley, Damion Pyles, Buddy Hurley, Joseph Barber and Dennis Pyles will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Coddington was born on January 17, 1954 in Torrington, CT the daughter of George and Helen Glass. She was a certifed nurses assistant at Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Roy Coddington. Survivors include 3 sons: James Coddington of Bainbridge, GA, Elvis R. Coddington and Jordan Howell, both of Colquitt, GA; 3 daughters: LoVisa Peterson of Beverly Hills, FL, Bertha Glover of Atlanta, GA, and Rhoda Jean Baretsky of Frederick, MD; a brother-in-law: Benny Kimmins of Colquitt, GA; a sister: Jean Glass of Kingston, NY; a sister-in-law: Barbara Kimmins of Colquitt, GA; 8 grandchildren: Ciarra Coddington, James Coddington, Jr., Daniel Coddington, Anthony Peterson, Rebecca Peterson, Corey Peterson, Braden Baretsky and Siersha Glover; 3 nieces and nephews: Julia Kimmins, Joseph Barber and Jay Kimmins; and her fiancé, Lawrence D. Howell, III of Colquitt, GA.
