Rhonda Sue Knight West, 54, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Fellowship Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Worsley officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Mrs. West was born October 2, 1959 in Fort Myers, FL, the daughter of Jerry Lee Knight and Elizabeth Lucile Lambert Knight. She worked for many years for Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated as an administrative assistant and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Walter West of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Natasha Powell and her husband, Jule, of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Weston Powell and Taryn Powell both of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Mike Knight of Bainbridge, GA, Chrys Overstreet of Statesboro, GA, Terry Knight of Bainbridge, GA , and Renee Smith of Statesboro, GA; her paternal grandmother, Frances Knight of Bainbridge, GA; and her maternal grandmother, Virginia Lambert of Bainbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Allen Knight.
