Rita White, 64, of Climax, GA, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard and Rev. Brian Hatchett officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Mrs. White was born December 7, 1947 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of James Walter Donalson and Jessie Mae Batten Donalson. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Gerald White of Climax, GA; her son, Lee White of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Selena Grimsley and her husband, Stephan, of Dawson, GA; her brother, Randy Martin and his wife, Janice, of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Beth Josey and her husband, Bill, of Bainbridge, GA and Lisa Donalson of Bainbridge, GA; her step-mother, Betty Donalson of Bainbridge, GA; her four grandchildren, Shelby Grimsley, Blake Grimsley, Morgan White, and Holden White; and her great-grandson, Jayden White.
