Robert Barber

Mr. Robert C. (Mike) Barber, Jr., age 60, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2007 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery. Mr. Barber was born October 12, 1946 in Miami, FL, to the late Robert C. Barber and Lillian Sharpless Barber. He graduated from Miami Edison High School in 1964 and from Miami Dade Junior College. He was the retired owner of Barber Lumber Company in south Florida, a Trustee of Palm Beach Atlantic College, and a member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Tallahassee, FL. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Beutel Barber of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Amy Elizabeth Barber of Bainbridge, GA and Hillary Anne Barber of Athens, GA; and two grandchildren, Carolina Angulo and Asa Angulo, both of Bainbridge, GA.
