Robert Brown

Robert C. Brown, 58, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at his residence. The memorial service will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post 4904, American Legion Post 62, and Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Shelbyville, IN. He was a supervisor in the Housekeeping Department at Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary A. Brown. Survivors include his wife, Vickie Grantham Brown of Bainbridge, GA; three sons, Travis Brown of Bainbridge, GA, Robert C. Brown and his wife Lori of Bainbridge, GA and Blake Boutwell and his wife Sarah of Fort Riley, KS; two daughters, Kerri B. Gardner and her husband Ashley of Bainbridge, GA and Robin B. Pierce of Shelbyville, IN; his sister, Donna S. Hudnall of Laurel, IN; his mother, Frances M. Brown of Shelbyville, IN; and eight grandchildren, Emily D. Pierce, Madison D. Brown, Robert C. Brown, Alissa J. Brown, Abigail F. Gardner, Cassidi L. Brown, Alyssa G. Pierce and Jaxson B. Boutwell.
