Mrs. Robin Rae Everson Tyson, age 54, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Cairo, Georgia. Robin Everson Tyson, "always the baby" of seven children born to Alton and Mary Everson, exuded a tender, childlike, trusting spirit throughout her life. As pain ravaged her body for long years, she never grew bitter, only sweeter in spirit. She received love in childlike ways always, and gave love just as freely. Her joys were simple. She loved roses, and hummingbirds, and the color purple. She loved to laugh. She loved to read. She cherished her husband, children and grandchildren, and loved then well with the anguish of a worried wife and mom when they struggled and hurt, and with childlike glee when they rejoiced. She was loving and kind"¦to everyone. Jesus was real to her, a constant Companion, her Rock. She leaned hard; He held her through it all. Robin Tyson is survived by her husband, Jimmy Burette Tyson of Ellabell, Georgia; her children, Joseph Kelly Tyson (Heather) of Ellabell, Vernon Lee Tyson of Ellabell, and Permelia Ann Parker (Dana) of Sevierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Austin Kersey, Stephen Parker, Andrew Parker, Brittany Tyson, Bryce Tyson, Sarah Tyson, Rebecca Tyson, Eliza Tyson, and Joseph Kelly Tyson, Jr.; 2 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Mary Jane Everson Holt (Daniel) of Gay, Georgia, Darrell Everson (Deborah) of Aiken, South Carolina, Lynda Everson Watson of Cairo, Georgia, Wayne Everson (Agnes) of Meigs, Georgia, Tamra Harrell (Kelvin) of Cairo, and Marian Powell (Irvin) of Sumner, Georgia; and a host of nieces and nephews.
