Roger Braswell

Roger Braswell, 50, of Brinson, GA, passed away Friday, July 24, 2015 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Harrell and Pastor Stanley Phillips officiating. Private family interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home. Box 879, Bainbridge, GA 39818. Mr. Braswell was born December 30, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of Milton Rogers Braswell and Betty Ann Mock Braswell. Roger lived most of his life in Decatur County. He was a 1982 graduate of Bainbridge High School and also graduated from Thomas Technical College. He was employed at Memorial Hospital in the Radiology Department for over 15 years and was also an AG pilot. Roger was a member at Fellowship Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his family and will be remembered for his sense of humor. Survivors include his daughter, Chelsy Braswell Trawick and her husband, Josh, of Brinson, GA; his parents, Milton and Betty Braswell of Brinson; his sister, Debby Braswell of Brinson; his grandson, Brayden, and his nieces, Bridget Schwartz and Stephanie Jones. Roger was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Braswell.
