A Memorial Service will be held for Ronald “Ronnie” Fred Worthy, Jr. at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Sealy’s Landing of Lake Seminole of Donalsonville. Ronnie sadly left us to be with his Lord and Savior April 16, 2024. Born in Blountstown, FL, Ronnie was the son of Ronald Fred Worthy, Sr. and the late Glenda Johnson Worthy. A friend to all, Ronnie met everyone with a smile and a word of encouragement. He worked in the grocery industry and his outgoing personality was a big plus in his life’s work. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Ronnie loved to fish, both salt water and fresh. Talking to his friends on the phone made him very happy, especially the days he was able to talk to his Dad. The most important part of Ronnie’s life was his family, his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his children Arynn Worthy of Savannah, Peyton W. Sosebee of Chattanooga and Brianna Worthy of Waycross; his parents, Ronald and Beverly Worthy of Cordele; his sisters, Heather Faircloth of Cordele, Sunny Rexroat of Vienna and Ashley Faircloth of Cordele; two brothers, Scott Worthy of Dothan, AL and Jeff Worthy of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Grayson LeBlanc, Arwen Sosebee and Alexander Sosebee; six nieces and nephews, Michael Accord, McKayla Worthy, McKenzie Worthy, Kaden Bellamy, Ava Brown and Luke Rexroat; and last but certainly not least, his fianceé, Sheila Dyke who was responsible for his clean life for the last four years and the one who made him happier than he had ever been. The family would like to say to Ronnie that they will carry his memory with them for the rest of their lives and to say thank you for all happiness that you gave us over the years.
Rainey Funeral Home in Cordele, Georgia is in charge of arrangements.
