Ronnie Bishop

Ronnie Lamar Bishop, 61, of Climax, GA, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at his residence. The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Thad Marshall and Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Mr. Bishop was born August 31, 1949 in Cairo, GA, the son of Jesse Leonard Bishop and Sarah Montine Owens Bishop. He was a graduate of Cairo High School, Class of 1967, was a farmer, and was of the Baptist faith. He played football and baseball in high school, and was an avid Florida State University football and baseball fan. Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Brenda Logue Bishop of Climax, GA; his son, Bo Hyatt and his fiancé Leigh Anne VanHousen of Bainbridge, GA; his daughter, Mikki Lambert and her husband Jay of Bainbridge, GA; his brother, Wallace Bishop of Bainbridge, GA; his grandchildren, Garrett Lambert, Tate Lambert, Conner Hyatt, Alexie Manning, Spencer VanHousen and Preston VanHousen; and his nieces and nephews, Richard Bishop, Monica Bishop Wilson, Braxton Harrell and Bailee Harrell.
