Ronnie Ritter, Jr.

Mr. Ronald Allen (Ronnie) Ritter, Jr., age 45, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 24, 2:00 p.m., at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home. Dr. Gerald Trotman will officiate.

Ronald Allen (Ronnie) Ritter, Jr. was born February 17, 1979 in Donalsonville, Georgia to Ronald Allen (Ronnie) Ritter, Sr. and Kathy Trotman Ritter. Ronnie was a jokester and would find humor in the most serious circumstances. He loved talking to and being with people. He was a gifted musician and loved music. Children seemed to flock to him. Ronnie dearly loved God and his family, especially his mother. It has been said he might have been his mother’s favorite. The family said he fought as hard as he loved.

Ronnie is survived by his parents, Ronald Allen (Ronnie) Ritter, Sr. and Kathy Trotman Ritter of Brinson, Georgia; his children, Camron Ritter (Deserae), Sarah Ritter, and Abigail Ritter, all of Brinson, Georgia; sister, Amanda Roland (Chris) of Iron City, Georgia; niece, Amber Roland of Iron City, Georgia; and fur grand-dogs, Rosco and Apollo. He was preceded in death by his sister, Janice Marie Ritter, daughter, Alaina Ritter, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and several aunts and uncles.
