Ronnie E. Loyd, 59, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 4, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Scarborough and Rev. T. Curtis Earnest officiating. Interment will follow at Turnage Cemetery in Seminole County with Chris Oaks, Chad Oaks, Gary Loyd, Carl Holloway, Nathan Thomas, and Billy Gray serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Ronnie was born March 25, 1953 in Donalsonville, GA. He was a graduate of Jacksonville High School and was a mechanic. Ronnie was the leader of the End Time Gospel Singers and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Day Loyd of Bainbridge, GA; his daughters, Tiffany Reeves and her husband, Jason, of Atlanta, GA and Trish Taunton and her husband, Pierce, of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Earnest Loyd of Donalsonville, GA; his step-son, Rusty Smith and his wife, Jennifer, of Brooklet, GA; his mother, Geneva Loyd Sullivan and her husband, Don, of Reynoldsville, GA; his sisters, Becky Oaks of Crawfordville, FL and Cindy Hall and her husband, Jackie, of Monticello, MS; his grandchildren, Brittany Gilbourn, Faith Taunton, Pierce Taunton, III, Cy Taunton, Bryan Loyd, and Nick Loyd; his step-grandchildren, Douglas Taunton, Jonathan Taunton, Sydney Claire Smith, Jackson Smith, Jacob Sikes, and Jenna Sikes; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Day. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Earnest R. Loyd; his brother, Greg Loyd; and his brother-in-law, Bobby Oaks.
