Rosa Nell Stegall Bean, 87, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016.The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Brock and Rev. Joseph Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Stoney Lindsey, Jackson Harrell, Joseph Smith, Drex Lindsey, Gabe Parker and Seth Parker serving as active pallbearers. She was a member of New Fountainhead Baptist Church.Nell was always on the go and wanted to be treated like a princess. She sported jewelry for every occasion and graciously posed for pictures to be taken. Nell loved her family and friends and kept up with their comings and goings through the newspaper. She had a knack for word search puzzles and was quite the pianist known for her natural talent. Her favorite song was "If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again". Survivors include her children, Roy M. Bean of Lumberton, MS, Charles Bean of Griffin, GA, Rosemary Meggs and Pamela Bean Sandifer both of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Jason, Christina, Shane, Misty, Jenna, Jody, Crystal, Joseph, Stacey and Luke; her twenty great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including her special niece and caregiver, Judy Harrell Davis. Nell was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie M. Bean; her sons, Carroll Bean and James Bean; and her siblings, Albert Stegall, Edna Cato, Louise Powell, Ruby Hickey, Johnnie Harrell and Willa Casagrande.
