Rosa Newsome

Rosa Lee Newsome, age 57, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service will be held later.
Rosa Lee Newsome was born August 26, 1967, in Camilla, Georgia, to Lynwood Everette Newsome and Jeanette Edison Newsome. Lee loved being outdoors. The beach was her favorite place to be, and the Florida Gators were her favorite football team. She would take any opportunity to grill for you. Lee was always available to help others. Before she became disabled, she enjoyed working in construction. A talented painter and finishing carpenter, she worked hard. She was a strong-willed person that fought to overcome her disabilities. She deeply loved her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Her dogs, Bobo, Buddy, and Chevy, were precious to her. Lee will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Rose Lee Newsome is survived by her siblings, Eddie Newsome, Jr. (Patricia), Debra Williams, and Teresa Crosson (Marion) and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Wendy Kay Newsome Bryan and Charles Edward Newsome.
