Rosa Thomas

Mrs. Rosa Christine Hurst Thomas, age 91, passed away early on Monday morning, July 23, 2012, at her home in Cairo, Georgia. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012, graveside, at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Andy Glover will be officiating. Rosa was born January 8, 1921, in Grady County, Georgia, to Robert Henry Hurst and Tempie Brinson Hurst. She was well-traveled and self-taught. Rosa was knowledgeable in so many areas. She loved animals; especially her cat, Pretty Boy. She loved collecting porcelain dolls and clowns. Rosa really enjoyed when people took the time to just sit and chat with her. Rosa Thomas is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
