Roy Durham

Roy Randy Durham, 65, of Brinson, GA, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Ronnie Williams, Dan Ward, Ed Smith and Grady Miller serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday, March 22, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Ivey Funeral Home, prior to the funeral service. He was a carpenter for many years and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Johnson Durham. The Durham family would like to extend a great appreciation to the staff at Hospice of Southwest Georgia and Memorial Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Odom and her husband George of Panama City, FL; his son, Roy Randy Durham, Jr. and his wife April of Panama City, FL; his sister, Betty Jo Mathis and her husband Bobby of Pansey, AL; a special cousin, Billy Griffin of Brinson, GA; his niece, Cathy Brunson and her husband Neal of Pansey, AL; his nephew, Ronnie Williams and his wife Yvette of Cottonwood, AL; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
