Royce Anderson

Royce Anderson, age 86, of Climax, Georgia, passed away Saturday, January 1st, 2022. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Neil Hosey officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. Royce was born November 10th, 1935 in Orlando, Florida the son of James Ammie and Vester Anderson. He retired from Albany Marine Logistics Base. He was an excellent father and man. Survivors include his daughter, Tammie Anderson and fiancé Billy Hester; stepdaughter, Debra McDonald; sister, Racine Enfinger; grandchildren, Tiffany Lockhart, Riley Anderson, Morgan Anderson, James B. McDonald, Robert Watson, and Stephen McDonald; and great-grandchildren, Lucius Lockhart, Adalyn Anderson, Kaybre Watson, and Dawson AndersonRoyce was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Winifred Anderson; son, Donald Royce Anderson; and numerous siblings.
