Ruby G. Ezell, 92, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce McCracken, Dr. Joseph R. Beauchamp, and Dr. Kenneth Cloud officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery with Chad Shiver, Blake Shiver, Edward Peirce, David Harrell, Zach Toole, and Jeff Toole serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be all former members of her Sunday School Class and the Men of Pine Forest Baptist Church. Mrs. Ezell requested that all of her former Sunday School students sing, "Jesus Loves Me" at the funeral service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the family's home, 664 Woodhull Road, Bainbridge, GA 39819. She was a seamstress for Williamson-Dickies, Inc. for over twenty years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ezell will always be remembered for her years of dedicated service at Pine Forest Baptist Church, she enjoyed cooking for the church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a member of Young at Heart and the Golden Agers. Survivors include her daughters, Dottie Ezell of Bainbridge, GA, Mary E. Beauchamp and her husband, Joseph, of Camilla, GA, Shirley E. Story and her husband, Bill, of Bainbridge, GA, Carolyn E. Elliott and her husband, Don, of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter-in-law, Grace L. Ezell of Climax, GA; her 7 grandchildren; and her 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David C. Ezell, Sr.; her son, David C. Ezell, Jr.; her brother, Pete Giannars; and her sister; Mae Bellflower.
