Ruth Edna Harrison Bush, age 94, of Faceville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on August 23, 2025. Born on December 6, 1930, in Grady County, Georgia, she lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion to her family. She was the proud wife of Felix Bush, Jr., devoted mother of four sons, and she cherished her role as grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family, whom she loved fiercely and unconditionally. She poured that same love into her garden, where she spent countless hours tending to her beautiful flowers, and in her kitchen, where her cooking became a tradition that brought everyone together. Sewing was a favorite pastime.

A faithful servant of Christ, Ruth was a longtime member of Faceville United Methodist Church, where she worshiped, served, and shared her unwavering faith with her church family. Her walk with Jesus was evident in the way she cared for others and loved with kindness, strength, and grace,

She is survived by her sons, Steve Bush and wife Darlene Bush, Timothy Bush and Kim Newbern, and Brian Bush; grandchildren, Candy Taylor, Christy Barthelmess, Holly Pritchard, Stevie Peltz, Jamie Bush, Shane Bush, Jessie Gesmond, Clinton Stewart, Ashley Stewart, Brandon Rye, and Melissa and Todd Glover; great grandchildren, Bree Taylor, Richie Hughes, Lily and Seth Yoder, Ella and Corbin Pritchard, Camden, Everly, and Brynn Peltz, Lincoln, Nora, Isla and Luke Gesmond, Dylan Johnson, Mackenzie Dunaway, and Marlee Maxwell-Glover; and brother Randall (Randy) Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Council and Grace Harrison, husband Felix Bush, Jr., son Craig Bush, granddaughter, Alyssa Marshall; and siblings, George Harrison, Roland Harrison, Virgil (Bo) Harrison, Ray Harrison, Reba Harrison Rackley, and Ruby Harrison Sellars.
