Sandra J. Kirkland, 67, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Corey Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kirkland was born October 20, 1945 in Wadesboro, NC, the daughter of John Henry Hudson and Beulah Mae Nordaker Hudson. She was a member of Beulah Thomas Baptist Church, a volunteer at the Salvation Army, and was a waitress and cook for Boyd's BBQ. Survivors include her sons, David Kirkland and his wife, Pam, of Climax, GA and Kenny Kirkland and his wife, Teresa, of Colquitt, GA; her three brothers; her two sisters; her grandchildren, Aerin, Macayla, Chris, Ashley, and Brian. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Kirkland; and her two brothers.
