\\Ms. Sandy Hewitt Reed, age 69, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at Bainbridge Memorial Hospital. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Sandy Reed was born August 15, 1944 in Savannah, Georgia to Thomas Rufus Hewitt and Ruby Clyde Brown Hewitt. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Reed loved to cook. She also loved fishing and camping. Sandy Reed is survived by her brother, Thomas Hewett of Statesboro, Georgia; niece, Brenda Grubbs and husband, Donald Grubbs, Jr. of Bainbridge; great niece and nephews, Heidi McKeller and husband, Joshua Elrod, Steven Grubbs and wife, Emily Ferrell Grubbs, and Ryan Grubbs; great-great niece and nephews, Jaden McKeller, Errin McKeller, and Shawn Grubbs all of Bainbridge. \\
