Sara L. Jones, 92, of Buford, GA, formerly of Climax, GA passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Dale and Rev. Ted Williams officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church, 763 Antioch Church Road, Climax, GA 39834. She was a graduate of Barber County High School and attended Troy, AL School of Nursing. She was a retired supervisor from a nursing home and former member of Climax Baptist Church. She was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA where she was a member of the Good News Sunday School class. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was dedicated to her church. She loved her grandchildren and watching them play sports. She is survived by her children, Johnny and Elayne Jones of Albertville, AL, Carroll and Judy Jones of Brinson, GA, Don and Renee Jones of Tifton, GA, Linda Jones Cooper of Buford, GA, Joy Jones of Cumming, GA, and Fran and Tim Hollingshed of Acworth, GA; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sue Lunsford, Columbus, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Jones, and son-in-law, Frank N. Cooper.
