Sara Meredith

Sara Jane Meredith, 73, of Climax, GA, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Max Bryant officiating. Interment will held at Beulah Thomas Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Meredith was born December 3, 1936 in Thomas County, GA, the daughter of Arthur L. Brinson and Blanche Lewis Brinson. She worked many years for the Georgia Industries for the Blind and she was of the Protestant Faith. Mrs. Meredith was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Ann Wise. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Meredith of Climax, GA; her sons, Charles Randall Meredith and his wife Renee of Houston, TX and Danny Meredith and his wife Teressia Ann of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Susan Bell and her husband Smitty of Climax, GA; her sisters-in-law, Laura Brinson and Laverne Brinson both of Thomasville, GA; her grandchildren, Danny Allen Meredith, Lucas Neal Meredith and his fiancée Tabitha McMillan, Joshua Paul Wintje, Jay Andrew Bowersox, Kaytlann Meredith, and Steven Meredith and his wife Kim; and her great-grandchildren, Carson Alexander Meredith, Madison, Kenny, Christian, Carla, Bianca, Steven, Jr., and Courtney.
