Sara Willis

Sara Gragg Willis, 82, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Art Bruce officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Tom Conger, Reese Rollins, Pete Miller, Jr., Joe Livingston, Lofton Willis, Richard Davis, and Tom Willis serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 10, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the residence, 1904 Lake Douglas Rd., Bainbridge, GA. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Willis was born August 8, 1925 in Sparta, GA, the daughter of Earl Adolphus Gragg and Ruby Oliver Gragg. She graduated from Bainbridge High School, was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. (Bobby) Willis, and a granddaughter, Sara Cecilia Pinson Iskandar. Survivors include two daughters, Maxine W. Pinson of Savannah, GA and Frances W. Davis of Gainesville, GA; her son, Bob Willis of Gainesville, GA; a sister, Martha Gragg Bates of Quincy, FL; five grandchildren, Richard Davis of Richmond, VA, Ansley D. Erdel of Washington, D.C., Malyssa Pinson of Savannah, GA, Barrett Willis and Tom Willis, both of Gainesville, GA; and a great-granddaughter Alice Tillery Davis of Richmond, VA.
