Shane Wolfgang Mercer, age 84, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Bainbridge Healthcare in Bainbridge, Georgia. A private service will be held.
Shane was born April 26, 1940, in San Francisco, California. He was a well-educated man, who proudly served in Special Forces, US Army. He was highly decorated during his service in Viet Nam and later worked as a government contractor. Shane was a kind, gentle soul. He was a loyal, decent human being.
Shane Mercer is survived by his dearest Kathryn, Katherine Lillethun of Bainbridge, Georgia and his poodle companions, Nikki and Uprina.
