Sharon Haire

Sharon Moore Haire, 56, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at her residence after a lengthy battle with cancer. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Randy Blocker, Lamar Barbree, Johnny Barber, Wiley Griffin, Paul Fryer, and Wayne Lambert. Cecilia Willis and the Decatur County Clerk of Court staff will serve as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday, February 26, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. She received her Secretarial Certificate from Georgia Southwestern University and formerly worked with the law firm of Floyd and Lambert. She was a Deputy Clerk for the Decatur County Clerk of Court and attended West Street Baptist Church. Sharon was preceded in death by her father, William J. Moore. Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Gregory V. Haire of Bainbridge, GA; her children, Dusty Haire, Jamey Haire, and Sandy H. Heard and her husband Jeff, all of Bainbridge, GA; her mother, Sarah Smith Moore of Brinson, GA; her sister, Vickie Byers and her husband Greg of Brinson, GA; and her grandchildren, Zac Haire and Brooke Haire.
