Sharon Winzell

Mrs. Sharon Louise Winzell, age 81, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Glenn-Mor Nursing Home, Thomasville, Georgia. A private family service will be held. Sharon Louise Carveth was born June 8, 1933 in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Sydney Burch Carveth and Ruth Taylor Carveth. Sharon married Claude Edward (Ed) Winzell, Jr. They have been married for 54 years. Mrs. Winzell was a nurse. She was a gifted seamstress. Sharon Winzell is survived by her husband, Claude Edward (Ed) Winzell, Jr. of Cairo, Georgia; children, Mark Winzell and wife, Elaine of Cairo, Vickie Gainous and husband, Roger of Cairo and Holly Lindsly and husband, Richard of Bonita Springs, Florida; grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey Winzell of Cairo and Ashley Lindsly of Bonita Springs; and her faithful companion, Sugar.
